Greetings, both to those who know my work , through books, journalism, or broadcasting, and welcome to those who do not. I hope to post something here fairly regularly - say, once a week. There will be a variety . If I give a talk or a lecture, which I sometimes do, I’ll post the contents here. (I do not READ lectures, I always try to talk off the cuff, but I do so having written out in advance what I want to say). There will be journal-entries. There might be the occasional poem, because although I do not publish my poems, I write them (in spurts) quite often. There will be personal reflections. There will also, from time to time, be passages of a book which, something tells me , I shall never get round to writing in book form : that is a revision, indeed a refutation, of a book I wrote many years ago about JESUS. I want to set in order why I think that book, and the school of thought which inspired it, is so very wrong-headed. So, here will be a mish-mash of stuff, which I hope will be of interest to some of you, some of the time.
Most of the stuff you read on this site will be in the form of a journal.
