The 1922 German film Nosferatu, directed by F.W.Murnau, is a classic, but not an unrepeatable classic.

Since 1922, there have been literally hundreds of Dracula films, or films drawing on vampire-themes. Christopher Lee was especially memorable in the Hammer House of Horror versions
